"শব্দমালা মানুষ হত্যা করে, মানুষ মানুষকে হত্যা করে" এই বাক্যসম্বলিত ছবি দিয়ে বাঙালী নাস্তিকদের একটি অংশ নেটে নিজেদের অবস্থিতি (profile) কে প্রদর্শন করছে। তথ্যবিজ্ঞান (information science) ও চিন্তাবিজ্ঞান (memetics) অনুযায়ী প্রমানিত যে সকল শব্দ হচ্ছে চিন্তা (thoughts) এর ক্ষুদ্রতম অংশ মিম (meme) গুলো মানুষের মাঝে ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার মাধ্যম। বিস্তারিত ব্যাথ্যা উক্ত বিষয়ের গভীরতর অধ্যয়ন/পড়াশোনার বিষয় এবং এই লেখার অক্ষরসীমার বাইরে। ভাষা ও ভাষা বুঝতে পারা মানুষের মাঝে শব্দের মাধ্যমে চিন্তা ছড়ানোর প্রক্রিয়া জীবাণুবিদ্যা (virology) এর epidemiology বা জীবানু বিস্তারবিদ্যার সূত্রগুলো মেনে চলে, কিছু পরিমানে। অনাকাংখিত জীবাণু বা germs এর মতই বহু চিন্তা আছে যা মানুষের মনে ঋণাত্মক মানসিক অবস্থা তৈরি করতে পারে (রাগ, ক্ষোভ, বিষন্নতা, মরণেচ্ছা, মারণেচ্ছা, বিচ্ছিন্নতেচ্ছা প্রভৃতি)। যেসব চিন্তাএকক বা মিম এভাবে বিপদজনক হয়ে উঠতে পারে, সেগুলোকে memetic hazard বা মিমগত বিপদ বলে চিহ্নিত করা হয়। এখন এই রচনাটি পড়ে, বিষয়গুলো চিন্তা করে মিলিয়ে দেখুন, লেখাটির টাইটেলে প্রদর্শিত বাক্যটি আদৌ সত্য নাকি একটি মিথ্যা প্রচারণা।
